I've always wanted to do a mix of all the unreleased beats that friends have been sending and giving me over the years, a few ones in the mix are older than a decade by now and still sound amazing. Kinda happy to get this one out of my system since this is not really the music i am playing out these days. At the same time it would have been a shame to leave those things unheard on my HD, so i've actually been sort of waiting for a good occasion to do this Mix. All unreleased as far as i know, a few full tracks and unofficial remixes, lots of loops and sometimes not more than a quick rough idea, still... hope you like this, i for one think that there is some amazing music in there.

In diesem Dezember veröffentlichte der polnische Produzent Blossom sein Debut und sein Sophomore Album über das Berliner Label Project Mooncircle. Das LP trägt den Titel "Blue Balloons / The Longest Journey", welches jeweils die zwei Titel der einzelnen Alben sind. Als kleinen Schmankerl gibt es für den Hörer einen Gastauftritt vom Londoner Rapper Jehst, der vielen Leuten wahrhaftig ein Name ist. Als Aufhänger wurde
der Track "Dusk" bebildert vom Project Mooncirlce Team und Dalai Limba.

The homie Boikutt just dropped his debut solo album called Hayawan Nateq. You might know Boikutt as one of the members of Ramallah Underground as well as being part of Tashweesh. This shit gives me goose bumps. All the pictures from my time in Ramallah creep up in my head and mix up with video footage of the intifada, check points and tanks... Even if you don`t speak arabic you feel what he is saying. Voicing his opinion about oppression, injustice and the paralized Palastian youth living in stagnation. Boikutt doesn`t have time to talk about insignificant bullshit. He is trying to settle the score with the entire fucked up situation. The backdrop for his lyrics are old arabic samples over dusty drums, but it almost feels like he took these sometimes super sweet arabic samples through the actual Palestinian history from the past into the future, ending up being deluded, frustrated and angry, but not broken.
With all that being said this is a brilliant and beautiful piece of music. Big up, Jad.

Audio: Sample Science 11 - Results

It is almost time to celebrate. For almost a year now DJ Werd, Amewu, Kenji451 and Trommel Tobi have been doing this lovely get-together of sample enthusiasts and beat makers in Berlin. The hype started at Atlas Pancakes and found a new home at Cafe Wendel now, where they are also doing their Turntable Tutorial every second Saturday.

Amongst the past participants have been many who are ready to drop their pants in front of an audience right after creation. Remember, it takes some balls to get a sample you never heard, chop it up in two hours and show it to a super critical expert audience. Just to name some of the most furious of the scene that certainly support this point with their well-know life skills are Dejoe, Hazeem, Flowin Immo, Taktloss, and lately also Yarah Bravo joined the reign of one-the-fly production with her latest beat featuring some serious Martin Luther King vocals.

Of course its also a place to discover some talents, and also meet people from various genres, since its the passion of samples and beats that unites, but of course its a lot of BummTschak as well!

So check out this weeks beats and feel free to give some love to the last 10 editions.

Wir haben lange auf ein weiteres Release von Jay Spaten gewartet und bekommen nun eine Hommage an den allseits bekannten Produzenten, Schauspieler und Regisseur von Pornofilmen geliefert. Letzte Woche habe ich Sadi Gent als Vorgruppe von Imbiss Bronco live gesehen und
fand ihn super fri$sh. Im Anschluss dank Brudi Yassin das Album gehört und ebenfalls für gut befunden. Top Songs für mich: Isso & Lebensmüde. Das Album kann man hier kofen. Wer ein junges Talent supporten will und kann sollte sein Taschengeld hier lassen. Ansonsten Youtuben oder son Schmutz.

Rino Mandingo - Schwesternmacher EP [Video]

Na Diggi?! Auch keinen Bock mehr, dass alle deine Mutter ficken wollen? Rino Mandingo bietet eine interessante Alternative an: Schwestern machen!! - Moment, dann fickt man doch auch….?! Egal….

Der Wahlberliner, der schon länger als Casper in Berlin wohnt, meldet sich nach zweijähriger Abstinenz zurück - diesmal aber nicht mit einem schüchternen Klopfen, sondern mit einem breiten Grinsen und deutlich mehr Volumen im Gehänge!

 "Schwesternmacher" kommt mit 9 Anspielstationen ( + zwei reinen Instrumentalen) daher.
Verantwortlich für den musikalischen Unterbau sind Sterio, Dramadigs, Jay Spaten und Stevo, der auch "Bridget Haze" (2011) maßgeblich geprägt hat. Die einzigen Gastvocals kommen von Bjorn Eric Schaufel, Cutrock steuert sämtliche Cuts bei.
Zum Schwesternmacher sind schon zwei Videos ausgekoppelt worden, drei Teaser sollen noch erscheinen.

Veröffentlicht wird das auf Tape und digital erscheinende Werk via "Wankers With Attitude" am 2. Oktober und kann ab sofort auf "HHV.de" vorbestellt werden.

Insightful - Angled Face Shapes

Our very own Insightful is so diverse with the beats. This dude can literally hit every BPM and energy seamlessly. He sent us this a few weeks ago and we knew this one had to be shared with you. He layered his bass infused beat with Big Sean's vocals from 'Dance (A$$)' and pretty much created a whole new song. This is that festival music. This is one of those tracks that DJs and producers will go out of their way to peak at your screen and want to know what it is. Insightful has a new album coming out next month (October 17, 2013) called "Elsewhere". Make sure to stay tuned for that. It's on a whole other feel good vibe, trust.
