It's been a bit tough to find out who actually made this, but digging is believing.

Cannibal Movie (Label: Sound of Cobra, Berlin) is a sub genre of exploitation films made mostly by Italian filmmakers through the 1970s and 1980s. This sub genre is a collection of graphically gory movies that usually depict cannibalism by primitive, Stone-age natives deep inside the Asian or South American rain forests.
Cannibal Movie is also a duo from south of Italy, exponents of new rising Italian avant-garde music scene.

They play drums and a old italian organ and their sound is a mix of obscure psychedelia, hypnotic tribalism and ecstatic magic tunes.

Denmark is not only known for it's Queen, but also for a very interesting young fellow drummer Kristian Mondrup Nielsen (fighting with the abouts of Die Antwoord or VJ Fader, or even more complex avant gardists such as Peter Broetzmann or Li TieQiao), who teamed up already in 2009 to form a beautiful multi-layered producer collective with musicians of the renown and grammy nominated OH NO ONO. He has been active in his past as a member of the Boom Clap Bachelors, where he demonstrated and mastered mixing abstract downtempo beats with heavenly Scandinavian voices.

There is a world out there and if you are interested, usually we don't post external interviews, but his private homepage is down, so go with the flow on Vice's Creators Project. They did a lovely Job.

On of a kind insider and amateur beat digger from the heart of a vivid pop culture that, which we must admit, was not only a mere copy of American pop, but was able to develop a unique language of her own. Thanks to Soulscape a lot of excellent tunes were archived and survived intellectual holocaust even through the 80s military dictatorship.

A little while back touring England London was calling. Brixton to be precise - Yes, as we Germans on Voyages prefer to be mistaken for. We only found out way later, that London Afro Funk is sexy as hell. And we noticed a beautiful record shop located in Brixton Market United80. The day we went there, doors were locked, but luckily enough this young brass focused band, with it's members all in their early 20s managed to put their release also on renowned First Word Records and we purchased their beautiful debut black 12'' Galaxies not Ghettos.
