In two weeks well known Apollo Brown drops an instrumental Soundtrack called Thirty Eight. In advance you guys can download three of the beats compiled to the EP Cigarette Burns. Download is free! Beats are nice ... well, style is well known too.

In the description it says "The sound falls somewhere between the end of 70s heroin and the beginning of 80s crack ... " that's actually enough to give it a try and listen.
Not sure though if its really a OST for a real movie. Somebody should do some proper research on this!

So you might have heard about Adrian Younge and Ghostface Killah who have put together an album called "Twelve Reasons To Die". The sound of the whole thing will make Wu-Tang fans crap their pants worldwide, but that is not the end of the story. They got Apollo Brown to remix the entire LP just to put that on a cassette that will be given along with the comic book. Which is a little too deluxe if you ask me, but you can listen to the snippet and think about ordering the whole package here.

The new album from producer Apollo Brown & emcee Hassaan Mackey, Daily Bread, is officially out today. Ascending production star Apollo Brown started making waves in 2009 after winning the Detroit Red Bull Big Tune Championship. The next year he signed to Mello Music Group and released a series of critically acclaimed albums: The Reset, Brown Study (selected by iTunes as one of the Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums of 2010), Gas Mask (with his group The Left, which made DJ Premier's Top 25 list in 2010), and most recently the instrumental opus Clouds. Detroit producer Apollo Brown approached the track by trying to craft an entirely new sound from the Oddisee original in an effort to compliment Trek's agressive flow. Trek Life commented after hearing the finished track: "What It Is is one of the rawest tracks I ever recorded, it's crazy that Apollo made it even MORE RAW!"
