Berlin producer Torky Tork is bringing the extra rare heat with „PR 110“. The album is a homage to the Eastern German cult crime series „Polizeiruf 110“ and entirely made from the original TV scores. Sampled from VHS tapes and spiced with obsucure dialogs, „PR 110“ is mad scientist trip into some of the most remote regions of diggerdelia. This private press LP is limited to 500 copies.
Torky Tork is part of the Beat Geeks collective from Berlin. The bi-monthly event at the Monarch bar in Kreuzberg is one of the mot hapening beat producer nights in Europe. Torky is currently working on a yet untitled album together wirth Suff Daddy (Melting Pot Music).

Beatgeeks is a producer night in Berlin, Germany created and curated by producers Suff Daddy, Hazeem and Party promoter & vinyl selecta LeBob. From Jazz to Glitch, Bleep to Hip Hop, all genres and varieties of high quality instrumental music captivate the listeners each and every time. Numerous producers come threw and display their sets and create a very unique and authentic vibe since 2011 every 1st & 3rd tuesday of the month.
Berlin based label Jakarta Records in collaboration with BeatEvolution Rec. now releases several small 7inch editions. Starting of with “Beatgeeks - to go” a rare and dope beat-collection of producers that have been part of this event thus far. Each episode will be pressed as a limited edition of 200 7" vinyl with unique, customized cover.
In Episode I and II well-known producers and regular guests to the event Dexter, Suff Daddy, KutMasta Kurt and Figub Brazlevic do the honors of exposing their latest sounds. Episodes III & IV will take a slightly different approach to beats that are electronical but not yet techno. Watch beats, not TV!

The aim of the compilation is to increase awareness, raise support, and expand the scope and influence of the emerging beat scene, both generally as a genre, as well as on a regional level.

In a climate where commercial media has set a prescribed and formulaic approach to the dissemination of art, Condensed Milk is an independent collective of like minded graphic designers, beat makers, DJs and crate diggers. Condensed Milk is a digital hub for music as well as art and culture, sourced from varying media sources from all corners of the globe. The collective features artists from Melbourne, Auckland, and Paris, and will continue to cultivate, promote and represent talent from as many diverse backgrounds as possible.

This is our final installment from the 3 volume series of Instrumental Compilations. Condensed Milk have carefully selected a number of beat makers that we feel embody the essence of creativity outside of the status quo and represent a part of their city’s involvement in the beat movement. Condensed Milk are proud to have each artist on board the Dusty Crates project as we hope to bring theIr music to a much larger audience.

Ich habe schon vor einer ganzen Weile von dem Projekt gehört und es mittlerweile gar nicht mehr auf dem Schirm gehabt. Aber glücklicherweise wohnt ja der Homie Kova in der Nachbarschaft, der das ganze Projekt gemastert hat und selbst für einen dopen Remix verantworlich ist.



Dadurch kam ich schon vor ein paar Tagen in den Genuss das gesamte Projekt anzuhören und es ist einfach ÜberDope geworden. Beim Fid Mella Rmx solltet ihr euch lieber einschliessen, denn da ist einfach alles AUUS.



Aber keine Lobeshymnen auf einen Remix, das Album ist voller Banger von Brenk, Dexter, Suff Daddy, Clefco, Ingvar, Hade und V.Raeter.

When we started this blog about a year ago, living together in the same building, sharing the same passion for music, we were passing on links of the stuff we found online. It´s a bit like digging for wax - a lot of crap but then at the end of the box you find a beautiful piece of music. So the next step was to share what you find on an bigger platform. While browsing the web and selecting everyday what stuff is worth promoting, we meet artists who catch our attention. We just wanted more of their dope music. We invented this compilation as fans and asked our favorite underground producers to contribute. We´re happy to deliver you a selection of mainly unreleased beats.
