Video: Looptroop Rockers - On Repeat

"9/19 what a day of shame for, the most enlightened country or you say so..."

Following the latest election in Sweden (September 19) we wrote, and recorded this song - responding to a racist party being voted in to the Swedish parliament in particular, and to the extreme right wing winds blowing over European and world politics in general. The feelings of frustration and anger had to be channeled some way, and the very day after the election we met in the Wax Cabinet studio to voice our opinion about history repeating itself, and Sweden being an even colder country this fall...

// Looptroop Rockers

Ok, We dont need many words. Looptroop is one of the best Hip Hop Fam*s we have in Europe. Critical, Arcane and always Real, if you wanna call it thou**. Fuck Fascism, Fuck Governments, Fuck the Police and Fuck the Money!

Audio: Vinyl Frontiers - Unreleased EP starring Muneshine & SeanPrice & Termanology & Treklife & Oddisee & Kaimbr & MaffewRagazino and more

Vinyl Frontiers Unreleased EP by VinylFrontiers

European production team Vinyl Frontiers launches EP with US greats.
Vinyl Frontiers announces that a lot of music is coming out soon with artists such as Treklife, Muneshine, Maffew Ragazino, Kaimbr, J Sands, and more.. To kick off the new label “Imake records” on which all of this will be released, they´re giving away a free EP with never before released tracks and remixes. “We've met a lot of artists during European tours and through the internet. Whereas producers usually have to settle for just productioncredits in a booklet, we have been blessed in a way that all these artists are willing to let us release this music ourselves. So expect a lot of EP's/albums from Vinyl Frontiers within the next year. The first EP will be made with Canada's Muneshine, followed by Cali's own Treklife.

For now: Download: the Vinyl Frontiers Unreleased EP here

The 1.st time we featured Vinyl Frontiers, has been with the Vinyl Frontiers - TV Tunes Beattape. Here we got the next dope release, its an EP with a damn dope feature list casting Sean Price, TrekLife, Termanology & Oddisee. Beats are wicked, propz to Vinyl Frontiers and also to Dj Friss for the fresh and knife-sharp cuts. BTW: Love the Song with Sean P!!

Audio: Massive Free Downloads from StonesThrow!

Massive Releases by our favorite Label: Stones Throw! As usual they provide a free mp3 of the good stuff.

Let´s start with something that totally fits my musical taste at the moment:
Now Again releases Dark Sunrise, "an anthology of Zambian godfather Rikki Ililonga and his groundbreaking band Musi-O-Tunya". African psychedelic funk-rock at it´s best. Musi-O-Tunya “Dark Sunrise”-A must have.

My second pick would be Dam-Funk´s Big Azz Girl. From his Adolescent Funk LP which features 14 tracks that he recorded between 1988 and 1992 -damn funky!

Than we have a new Aloe Blacc track: The Dark End of the Street. A Soul-Beauty he put together with "the Grand Scheme" backingband and released exlusiv for a Carhartt-Soul-Compilation.

Turning to the Rap side of things, we have a new supergroup: OhNo teamed up with Alchemist to follow the Jaylib concept: Gangrene “Chain Swinging” is the free track. Well, it isn´t as mindblowig as the release of "Offical".. but still good quality as you would expect from these guys. grimy.

A Shade lighter is the collaboration of AloeBlacc & MED: Where I'm From from the new 12-inch single. Too light for me.. both released better stuff in my opinion.

Seu Jorge, who´s been responsible for one of the nicest summer hits this year brings us a new coverversion: The Model (Joey Altruda Remix), that brings some brasilian flavour to our rainy winter days. A special video will be released during the day..

To Comlete the whole download marathon. Check also:
J Rocc - Play This Too from the new 12-inch single, Anika - Yang Yang from their upcoming debut album entirely produced by Portisheads own Geoff Barrow. To end with what we started: WITCH - Introduction from Zambia and Tirogo - Float from Nigerian. Both on Now Again.

Click through the links and download what you like. Big Ups to Stones Throw for their incredible output.
Enjoy -jones

The first time i recognized Jon Phonics was the day Half Past Calm 2 dropped in early may 2010. After this dope LP ive been always interested in his releases. JP is a versatile producer and a machine in banging beats. Dude seems to be a nice guy, like he proved as he sent me a beat for the 1.st Beat compilation we released in september. Audio: Wiz Khalifa - When You Find // Mp3

Everybody has used this classic soul song (Johnson, Hawkins, Tatum & Durr - You Can't Blame Me) from Reks, Mobb Deep, Curren$y and Madlib. Now sometimes in some rare cases it`s ok to just loop like the first 30 seconds and you will get away with doing the best job out of all the versions. Only of course when the original song is this good.
Watch this human being above... he just couldn`t help himself.
I remember Ghostface doing it first when he rapped over the whole Delfonics song.
Had this on my IPod since Wiz`s Burn After Rolling dropped, but this tune is on his new tape aswell, so now is the time. Download The Epitome Of Wiz Khalifa here.

Audio: Agallah - Rap Bobby Fischer / Devil In A Red Dress // Mp3

Agallah - Rap Bobby Fischer

Agallah - Devil In A Red Dress

Something new by the Don Bishop. (Little detail that I like is how he says: "Sattttturday Live" #MachineGunFlow). Produced by the Don himself.
Below you will find a Freestyle over Kanye`s Devil In A New Dress. Both of these songs should be downloaded immediatly. Agallah at it`s best.
