Ich stand ja in letzter Zeit öfter mal in einem von 1.000.000 Späties in Berlin und habe vergeblich nach Beck's gesucht. Das Rätsel war im Endeffekt recht schnell gelöst und schon beim 4/5.ten mal greift man gezielt zum Hippster-Etikett. Verantwortlich für die Gestaltung waren M.I.A., Bloc Party, Seeed, Boys Noize&Paul Snowden und Anton Corbijn. Wer Anton Corbijn nicht kennen sollte, er ist für viele Fotografie Klassiker von beispielsweise den Rolling Stones, Joy Division oder Frank Sinatra verantwortlich. Der letzte Kinofilm aus seinen Händen war "The American". Ich würde ja zu gerne mal ein Flaschenetikett designen das in WestBeirut auf einmal im Kühlschrank des Spätshops steht. Schönen Abend und Prost.

Berlin: Graffitibox Summer Jam // 04.08.2012 @Yaam

In genau einer Woche öffnet das Yaam die Tore zur letzten Graffitibox Jam. Am 4.8.2012 steht Berlin wieder Kopf wenn es um Graffiti,Rap und Breakdance geht. Ob die 7.te Ausgabe der Jam wirklich die letzte ist bleibt ein ungeklärtes Rätsel, Fakt ist das die Umsetzung für den Vernstalter Jan Wagner und sein Team immer viel Anstrengung bedeutet, ob organisatorisch oder finanziell. Deshalb ruhig mal eine Karte oder 10 vorbestellen und das Projekt unterstützen. Im diesjährigen Live-Line-Up finden sich 50 Live-Acts, darunter Nate57 & Telly Tellz, Morlockk Dilemma und Hiob, Motrip, Main Concept, Mach One, Akte One und viele mehr (komplettes Lineup). Die Veranstaltung die die klassischen 4 Elemente repräsentiert lädt 140 internationale Writer ein die Außenwände des Yaam Geländes zu malen oder am Graffitibox Writer Battle teilzunehmen, wer Graffiti-afin ist sollte sich diesen Event mit so manchen Legenden nicht entgehen lassen. Die Beatboxer und Tänzer kommen auch auf ihre Kosten und dürfen 70 internationale Breakdancer und 30 Beatboxer bei den Battles begrüßen. Ich freue mich auf einen schönen 4.August im Yaam und sage, man sieht sich vor Ort.

Wir nützen seit Monaten und Jahren die Brachfläche Cuvry- Ecke Schleßische Strasse in Berlin Kreuzberg. Auf einem der letzten zugänglichen, wilden Teile an der Spree – auf dem das BMW-Guggenheim Lab über die Probleme der Stadt sprechen wollte, gehen wir die tatsächlichen Probleme dieser Stadt praktisch an.

Am Dienstag soll dieser Ort nun geräumt werden. 

Dafür, oder besser dagegen brauchen wir Euch alle! 

Wir laden Euch ein den Freiraum Cuvrybrache zu feiern und mit Euren Vorstellungen zu besetzen! Denn: Wir sind das Laboratorium! Wir setzen den Bürgerentscheid durch! Wir sind die Stadt für Alle! Deswegen: Heute, Montag buntes Kulturprogramm bis in die Nacht (Bands, Maler, Voküs, Theater, kommt vorbei!) Dienstag 9 Uhr Räumung verhindern (kommt alle nochmal vorbei!)
