Audio: Rafael Jove - The Spread // Mix

Download

A selection of mostly european (predominantly german) tracks. Many of them edited. Just some rare or awkward stuff sitting on my shelves, that waited to be compiled into a mix for a long time. Starting slowly and getting library discoid towards the end.

Our friend Rafael is a lunatic when it comes to record diggin. Check out his latest adventure into funkyland. Crusty ass shit!

Audio: CHARLIE DARK - REGGAE 45 MIX -BTS Radio

I`ve had this one already a few days on my mp3-player but now, since the sun decided to come out, I listen to it all the time. London´s Charlie Dark (of Attica Blues Fame) put together a selection of classic roots raggae for the californian radiostation BTS. Perfect to walk through big citys, smog filled summer days. (I guess it works just as fine at an weimarer garden barbecue)

The man himself wrote:
"I started listening to reggae back in the late seventies courtesy of a dread who lived on my street and used to blast his music while washing his old school BMW every sunday. Thirties years later I'm still collecting reggae and just love the whole physical aspect of 45's. All cracks, pops and crackles free courtesy of an original 45 selection. From deep East London to your speaker stack. Charlie Dark in the mix. Enjoy"
