The New York Duo "Phantogram" known as "Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel" released their Album "Eyelid Movies" last month via Barsuk Records and shared the first single "When I'm Small".It was more coincidence that i found it,so much the better it is right know.Great produced Song with many sound layers,if drums,samples or synthies.The lyrics performed by Sarah Barthel are epidemic and catches the listener for a journey.DL.

You might know the featured artists from some of the nicest coverart done in the 90´s. Some of them collaborated with musicians like the beastie boys, dj shadow or the mowax posse.. to me, it was at that time, the most thrilling thing to see how that kind of art and music perfectly merged together. I guess it wasn´t just me who got influenced by these foreword looking guys..

Junktion is Palmerston North’s beat orientated musical hub. It was established in 2006 with the goal of promoting local artists within the community. Junktion gathers tracks from artists in Palmerston North and abroad, makes compilations and hands them out, all for free. With funding received from the local arts council and local Bnet station, Junktion has released free music from over 30 artists from the last four years.
