Aloe Blacc ist ja so nen Artist der immer mal wieder richtige brenner rausbringt (zBsp. >happy now?< auf der chromchildren2), ansonsten etwas in der allgemeinen übersättigung versinkt.. Mit dem bald erscheinenden zweiten soloalbum scheint er aufzutauchen.. Besonders Freunde von MayerHawthorn wird der neue Sound erfreuen. produziert von den Bands um das truth&soul label ( the expressions (Lee fields) und El Michels Affair) macht er schönen, direkt ins ohr gehenden soul. Zumindest versprechen das die ersten beiden Lieder der 12". Wenn jetzt noch etwas verstörendere klänge (madlib?) und räps drauf kommen würden wäre ich über zufrieden.. Auf jeden Fall kann man gespannt das neue album erwarten..
