Received this leak some minutes ago by Drewtraditionon from his "Carry on Tradition" album called "If I Died Today" featuring B-Real, Apathy, and Young De. Apathy is preparing to take his career to another level with the release of his third-solo LP, Honkey Kong, which will be released on 8-23-2011. The Connecticut emcee and The Get Busy Committee (Apathy, Scoop Deville and Ryu released Uzi Does It in October 2010) and AOTP member has undeniably crafted his best project to date and it includes production from Apathy, DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, Statik Selektah, Evidence, Da Beatminerz and Teddy Roxpin among others. Guest appearances on Honkey Kong include Xzibit, Slaine, Vinnie Paz, Esoteric, Ill Bill, Celph Titled, Action Bronson, General Steele (Smif N Wessun) and Mad Lion.
I had this in my playlist for quite some time (actually it`s been two months since this one dropped)...and I want you to check this guy out. Young De has been B-Real`s protege for a while now and you probably know "super producer" Scoop DeVille from Snoop Doggs "I Wanna Rock" and Fat Joe`s "Slow Down (Ha Ha)". I think both of these cats are really interesting. Watch the two clips above to check more of their collaborative efforts together with the Get Busy Committee.
