The Green Experience is Koyto’s new release joining forces with one of the most respected artists of L.A., Phil The Agony, from Strong Arm Steady. Both artists have created a 6 tracks EP, all produced by Koyto, getting that strength on the beats to match the Phil The Agony essence on the mic, who takes the listener into this Green Experience.
 
With a history of over 15 years in the underground scene in Spain , Koyto has produced music for many talented artists around the world such as Declaime , Kazi, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Hezekiah Tableek, MED, Kohndo and many more.

This Friday Mello Music Group continues it's free music series, offering fOnk legends Georgia Anne Muldrow & Dudley Perkins "SomeOthaShip" album for free download all week! This project is 13 tracks long featuring Black Milk, Prince Po, MED, Rapper Big Pooh, Kazi, LMNO, Kool G Rap and more. The production is equally stellar featuring work from Black Milk, Oddisee, Dudley Perkins, Georgia Muldrow, and Flying Lotus. Included in the download version is bonus material including an Oh No remix featuring Rapper Big Pooh & MED and an LD mix. This project was originally released in 2010 and represents some of MMG's earliest work having been the 2nd project Mello embarked on. G&D are busy preparing another album which is due out in Fall on Dudley & Georgia's label SomeOthaShip Connect.

Kazi unearthed an album he did with Madlib back in 1996 called BLACKMARKET. We'll be sending out a track in our next newsletter - sign up in the lower right hand corner. Below are a few tracks Kazi already has available on Bandcamp. BLACKMARKET was recorded at Madlib's bedroom studio, Crate Diggas Palace (Photos) in Oxnard CA on reel-to-reel tape.  Kazi's first appearance on record was on Lootpack's Soundpieces: Da Antidote in 1999. The following year Kazi released the Madlib-produced EP Down for the Kaz and appeared on Madlib's Madlib Invazion EP, both on Stones Throw.
