Two Ton Sloth ((Brad Hamers: Raps + Big Pauper: Beats) sind gute Wegbegleiter des Independent Rap und bestätigen das mit ihrem neuen Werk "Siphoning Dreams ".13 eingängige Tracks mit regelrechten Klangkollagen, Synthie-Elementen,verzerrten Bässen und "durchen" Smaples.Ist sicherlich kein Release für jedermann bzw. den klassischen HipHopHörer,aber genau das gefällt mir an derartigen Releases.Die Liebe zur Abwechslung und die offene Einstellung gegenüber Musik als Gegenspieler zu idealisierten Geschmäckern die immer nur ihresgleichen suchen.TWO TON SLOTH sind alles andere als 2 Tonnen Langeweile.!Mr.Teee bau mal einen!

Hier ein Compilation aus der VergangenheitsMixMaxkiste von "No Chance to Shine".Eine derartige Zusammenstellung ist sehr von Vorteil musste ich feststellen,da nicht nur eine Vielfalt Musik repräsentiert wird sondern auch die musikalische Entwicklung des Künstlers.Viele Tracks besitzen Live-Elemente und durchdringen mit einer wunderbaren Sampleauswahl den Zugang zum Hörer.Kein Kopfnicker dafür aber Sterne*menü!
