Audio: Sade "Keeps Us From Falling" (Ill Poetic Remix) 2010

<a href="http://illpoetic.bandcamp.com/track/sade-keeps-us-from-falling-ill-poetic-remix">Sade "Keeps Us From Falling" (Ill Poetic Remix) by Ill Poetic</a>

Ill Poetic:
“Simply put, I’m a huge Sade fan. I started work on this remix over 7 years ago. Upon hearing about the release of “Soldier of Love”, I figured now would be the time to release this. A Part of me is doing this from a promotional standpoint. But, honestly, the bigger part of me (and anyone who knows me can attest) is doing this as a fan of Sade, the singer and the band. Sade, to me, represents one of the last artists I can be a strict fan of. A legend, a myth. The more we all exist in this music industry, it’s easy to get lost in the business of music. Sade is my reminder of what makes beautiful music so beautiful. She is the perfect reminder of why music is a soundtrack to an Experience. That’s why I made this remix. If you’re a fan of Sade, then this is one fan’s take on her music, given to the rest of her fans who’d like to listen.”

Kam gerade per Mail rein.Für alle "Sade" Fans (Sade - "Keeps Us From Falling").Da ich kein reiner HipHop Hörer bin, bleib ich an vielen Produktionen interessiert.Deshalb auch dieser Post, den ich RayLik49 widme.Schönen Tag.Thx.IllPoetic

Hi, my name is ill poetic, an artist/producer from Cincinnati, OH. I noticed on your site a recent post about Illogic and Blueprint (Greenhouse) "Electric Purgatory". Preceding this release, Illogic and I released his LP through Blueprint's Weightless Recordigns in March 2009. I just wanted to pass this post on to you if you're interested in sharing it: (thnx)
----
Just wanted to round out the end of the year with a lost Illogic song from the "Diabolica Fun" sessions:

"Graveyard" (prod. by ill poetic) is an unreleased song that didn't make the final version of Illogic's "Diabolical Fun" (released earlier this year). The song originally closed out the album, but was cut because it just seemed a little too dark for the overall feel of the record (the song sounds like it looks outside). We figured we'd give something away for free for the holidays to remind people of Illogic's comeback LP as well as his current Greenhouse EP with Blueprint. Also attatched are some "Diabolical Fun" snippets for anyone who hasn't checked for it yet. On the Ill Po side of releases, be prepped for a 2010 full of projects/odd ideas (inluding the official follow-up to "The World Is Ours").

"Diabolical Fun" can be purchased for 20% off right now @ weightlessmerchandise.com

We thank our Bro* Ill Poetic for sharing that nice song with us.I hope all the German Fellahs out their, will be influenced by good topic rap and anti-mainstream bizzzz.Illogic is damn Good!

Audio: Ill Poetic - The World is Ours // Instrumentals

<a href="http://illpoetic.bandcamp.com/track/common-knowledge-instrumental">Common Knowledge (Instrumental) by Ill Poetic</a>
"So in continuance of "The World is Ours" Re-Release campaign that I've been working on for the Summer, I wanted to release the Instrumentals for this record as a free download. I realized 2 weeks ago that I've never even actually made an instrumental version of this record for myself. So I had the pleasure of digging through the original files for this album and getting nostalgic at all the recording sessions. There are even a couple added instruments here and there this time around, since I got to dig fully back into each songs format.
I'm doing all this as a way of preparing for a huge run of projects that I'm in the midst of wrapping up now (including the follow-up to this record). So I promise I'm not stuck in the past, Just catching the past up to the present so i can work on the future. Hope y'all enjoy it. Hope some emcees catch some writing inspiration. Hope some people catch some riding inspiration.Enjoy and Thanks again for all the support. The blogs, the comments, the shows, the fans (friends). Thank You."
