One Handed Music: Hi, Last week we sold our last ever physical copy of The Strange Dreams of Paul White, the 2009 debut album, which came painstakingly packaged in a handmade, hand-stamped pillowcase. As Paul puts the final touches to his next LP, Rapping With Paul White, it seems like the perfect time to let this one go, and find new ears for one of the most dazzlingly inventive, witty and captivating instrumental records around.
BTS Radio:Manic when it comes to new creation, I was handed three CDs with over 150 beats the first time I met Paul White. His output has been at dizzying levels for years, it's hard to imagine the number of archives he's stored away.White is hip-hop through and through. He respects the art and captures the elements of what you loved about the genre from the start. His sample sources lean towards psychedelics, experimental jazz and rock, giving it a more distinct sound than most hip-hop beat makers. His latest project, "Paul White and The Purple Brain", is an album made up entirely from work of little-known Swedish psych-rock guru S.T. Mikael. The combination goes hand in hand and where White is most comfortable creatively. Taking drug-fueled sound and rinsing it through the MPC.Paul White's "Paul White and The Purple Brain" is out now on Now-Again/One-Handed Music.
Everybody knows that we LOVE "Paul White",his psychedelic and dirty way of producing with amazing arrangements. This talent from UK out of the "Onehandedmusic" label is one of the dopest shooting stars in the avant-garde Hip Hop producer scene.High Five Paul!
Paul White and DJ House Shoes present the "DJ House Shoes x Paul White Mixtape" including Seven unreleased new beats, Six tracks from Rapping With Paul White, Five remixes from Paul's vaults including Nas and ATCQ and One exclusive remix of a Rapping... album track. Cant wait to hear the whole album. Paul White is fucking talented, im curious about the feature with Danny Brown. The RMX included in the Mix is a dope foretaste. Shit is fire, the rough side of "Alice in Wonderland".
Paul remixed six tracks from his recent Rapping With... album, slipped in five outstanding new instrumentals and an interlude, and there we have it. What's more, three of these remixes feature Paul White playing live, no samples. We'll leave you to figure out which ones.
We love Paul White`s music. Now we get the Remix EP for free. The bandcamp player has only two songs, but once you`ll download the EP you will hear the rest of the joints.
Rotten Apples is off Paul White's "Rapping With Paul White". The Remix is the first preview on "Rapping With Paul White - The Remix EP". If you ask me, this team never fail the targets. Pretty and unpredictable.
Onehanded: We are very pleased to announce that Paul White and the Purple Brain is available today as a CD and download, and as a preorder for the limited triple vinyl edition.

If you need a little more convincing, there's another new free track there, just scroll down to Organ Therapy. It's a banger, in a weird sort of way. This isn't about picking out single tracks though: the album is designed to flow from start to finish as a continuous trip. If The Strange Dreams of Paul White was a chance to witness the brilliance of his beat tapes, ...The Purple Brain is something else: a deeper, more psychedelic and at times introspective record which makes a virtue of its unusual limitation: almost every note is taken from the work of an obscure Swedish musician, S.T. Mikael. It's a project that only Paul White would embark upon, and the results are stunning.

Common productions between Danny Brown and Paul White are going to change the scene. Paul White's more exceptional productions and Danny Brown's disruptive forces in his verses. Call it Dream Team. Track appeared on Peter Rosenberg's "What's Poppin' Vol. 1" Mixtape yesterday. Available right here.
Paul White's brand new single My Guitar Whales is ready for your ears. It's a stripped-down psychedelic banger of the finest order and the first taste of his forthcoming album Paul White & The Purple Brain. There is of course an exclusive b-side, and a quirkily addictive one at that.
i love Onehandedmusic for the dope releases they constantly dropped in the last years. Paul White's new EP "Watch The Ants" is going to join the story. Also iam really looking forward for the next Danny Brown Album which is entirely produced by Paul White. TschikTschak.
The freaked out beats of UK beathead Paul White remind me of 70 psycadelic records. With an hardcore MC like Guilty Simpson on top of it we have the perfect combination. The original track is a free download. The remixes cost min. 60 cent. But that´s not too bad for an ep that would have cost about 7€ 3 years ago.. The only difference is the absence of the pressed oil. The quality of the music is the same.!!Inhale!!
Paul White has been back in the studio and needed no coaxing to produce what might be the finest Christmas beat to drop this year. Rumours of Bullion’s vocoder version of ‘God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman’ remain unfounded. Enjoy!
Paul White, english beatproducer, is signed to Now-Again Records. Started as a stonesthrow side Label for obscure 60s-70s funk, soul, afrobeat.. what ever, (let´s call it "analog music").. Now Again now seem to sign some of the most interesting instrumental hip hop producers around. After Dimlite they got Paul White to produce an Ep for them. And the good thing is: To every release there is a free mp3 to download. Here you can get Paul White - Ancient Treasure But you should also take some time and dig through the webside: www.nowagainrecords.com j. O.L.
Latest Mix of "Paul White" before he drops his new Album "Plastic People" on Thursday 27 May.Grab this smooth, specific and psychedelic mixture.Paul is the Man!
One-Handed Music: The story thus far: from the moment that the young Paul White's craft crash-landed in the jungle, he wanted nothing more than to make a banging hip-hop album. From the moment his first beat tape dropped down the chimney of our corporate HQ, we wanted nothing more than to help him do just that. Rapping With Paul White has been a long time in the making and features some of his favourite MCs over brilliant production. We're proud to offer you the first single.
Paul White is one of these producer cats, we always digg his releases, because he never dissapoints, the reason is simple, he is really dedicated to good beats. You remember the Purple Brain LP or the single with Tranqill or the Stoners Throw podcast which has been released last week? This Dude is toooo dope. You realized that Modern Talking sample on Goes To Hollywood??. So the spell is very simple: Support good Music, Here you have the Chance.!! Big Up Paul White and thanks Alex Chase for keeping us updated with such dope music. Yo°.
Long tipped as a vocalist to watch, Ahu steps softly from the shadows of her lauded guest appearances to deliver To:Love. It’s a captivating performance from the Turkish singer whose unique style might be found somewhere between traditional soul and the studied remove of the likes of Broadcast’s Trish Keenan. If there’s poignancy in her delivery, there is hope in the lyrics: it’s a song about the calm and freedom felt by lovers after they split. Her long-time friend and musical ally Paul White provides the subtle, ever-shifting backdrop, a nuanced electronic counterpoint to the more organic psychedelia of his recent …and the Purple Brain LP....continue reading....
I introduced Ahu Kelesoglu to you, some weeks ago. Here is the latest release of OneHandedMusic. To: Love is produced by Paul White, one my favourite producers and the Remix is produced by no less a figure than Dimlite. Good day..
