“Rhymes Like Dimes” off MF DOOM's classic debut album OPERATION: DOOMSDAY. This live performance was shot at Stones Throw's party at SXSW a few years back. The full performance is on the Chrome Children DVD/CD.
Good Guy Tom Dice peeped me an album he produced for his homie The Phantom in the past. The THE ANOMALY LP is confident and sweeping good. If you want to call an album "underground", this is the right spot. Very nice Boom Bap Beats by "Tom Dice" and a more than fresh "The Phantom" on the mic. ( Check the complete album stream and Download link after the jump ).
2dbz and DjBooth present this King Mez EP for FREE. Entirely produced by Khrysis. Features of Sean Boog, Phonte and Thee Tom Hardy. Its definetely one the best EPs i heard in a while. What can i say, Khrysis is a monster!!! Plus King Mez has a fresh flow and voice. MUST DOWNLOAD!!!
I guess sometimes gangsta rappers are indeed gangsta rappers. This was recorded around 2004. Four years later Rosco was put in jail for double murder. I really fuckin liked the stuff he did while being on StarTrak.
On a another note: German Rapper Bushido has teamed up with Preemo. Take a look.
wtf is going on!?
AG – Pull From the Blunt (Prod. By Jones)
I found this new joint by Andre The Giant and while I was trying to find a decent picture I discovered Iller is preparing a whole album with producer Jones and the legendary AG. Hell fuckin yeah!
Two very dope chilled-out tracks. Light up.
Mac Miller created a pretty nice Buzz in the past year and is one one my favourite upcomers. This is the second leak off Mac Millers upcoming Album "Best Day Ever" dropping March 11th. With Khrysis on the boards this shit is fire.
This track is so fresh !! "Nasty by Nature" is the title track of the new Lil Nasty Album. Grime how it should be. Especially for the homie Solo after posting the D.O.D Video.
An Hempstead native like Prodigy or Julius Erving, Meth recalls a straining try-out for Cappadonna’s crew, around a time when the future Wu members used to battle each other… Going back to 8th grade, Meth talks friendship, dark secrets, and him stealing Cap and Rae’s rhymes to impress cats as he’d go back to his old place in Long Island.
I guess everybody likes these little rap history lessons. Plus Method Man getting real sentimental at the end. Shit. R.I.P. ODB.
We showed you the other banger off this EP yesterday. Now check this one. I am really impressed by these westcoast beats coming out of Sweden. Do we have more stuff by Jolle? Anyone?
get the entire Ep here.
