French producer/beatmaker Onra (lifeandtimes.com/love-on-the-beat, if you don't know) sampled from stacks of 80's funk vinyl to produce one of my favorite albums of 2010, Long Distance. (itunes.apple.com/us/album/long-distance/id371341181) I sampled from my collection of obscure 80's videos and a few internet clips to produce this clip for his track, "Sitting Back. "Shout to Onra, Nathan Love for the compositing help, and all the artists and videographers I "visually sampled" for this piece. Hope no one's offended ;)

Below are a few tracks Kazi already has available on Bandcamp. BLACKMARKET was recorded at Madlib's bedroom studio, Crate Diggas Palace (Photos) in Oxnard CA on reel-to-reel tape. Kazi's first appearance on record was on Lootpack's Soundpieces: Da Antidote in 1999. The following year Kazi released the Madlib-produced EP Down for the Kaz and appeared on Madlib's Madlib Invazion EP, both on Stones Throw.
